I Support the Girls - Fredericksburg collects and distributes essential items, including bras, underwear, and menstrual hygiene products, allowing women and folx experiencing homelessness, impoverishment, or distress to stand tall with dignity.

I Support the Girls - Fredericksburg became a nonprofit affiliate in August 2022 with our first donation drive and we are currently the only affiliate in Virginia. ISTG-FXBG is completely volunteer and donation based and provides essential items to over 25 organizations and schools throughout Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, Stafford, and Culpeper.

Our programs include:

Period Project: Established in several local schools, the Period Project provides cosmetic bags filled with menstrual products in classrooms so that students have immediate access during school to limit missed instructional time.
Women's History Month: Celebrated with donation drives and fundraisers at local businesses
Breast Cancer Awareness Month: A community organization is selected for a bra-fitting event where participants receive their true bra size and receive new, well-fitting bras from ISTG-FXBG. Donation drives at local businesses focus on collecting new and gently used bras.
