Tisha Johnson is a dynamic entrepreneur, community leader, and motivational speaker known for turning vision into impact. As the CEO and Executive Chef of Orleans Bistro in Fredericksburg, Virginia, Tisha has built more than a restaurant — she has created a community hub where food, culture, and connection come together.
Her passion for hospitality expanded with the launch of Orleans After Dark Cigar Lounge, where she made history as the first African American woman to open a cigar lounge in Spotsylvania County. The lounge delivers a sophisticated, “grown and sexy” experience that blends premium cigars, craft cocktails, live entertainment, and elevated nightlife.
A proud servant leader, Tisha currently serves as President of the North Stafford Rotary Club, where she has led transformational growth and developed initiatives focused on veterans, children’s mental health, hunger relief, and community empowerment. Under her leadership, the club has expanded membership, launched major service projects, organized fundraising events, and built partnerships that directly impact families across the Fredericksburg and Stafford communities.
Tisha’s commitment to service extends far beyond Rotary. She serves on the Board of Directors for Stafford Junction and Unmasked, and she actively supports organizations such as the SPCA, Hope House, and other local nonprofits. Her work consistently centers on uplifting families, supporting youth, and strengthening the community through collaboration.
In addition to her business and nonprofit leadership, Tisha is the voice behind “Tisha Johnson Speaks,” where she delivers motivational messages on leadership, resilience, entrepreneurship, and sisterhood. Known for her authenticity and powerful storytelling, she inspires audiences to pursue purpose, build wealth, and create meaningful impact.
