At age 45, I became a USMC widow. Cancer and death were two things I would have never envisioned for my family. Through my tragedy, I gained valuable insights into the importance of planning ahead. I decided to become a life insurance and annuities agent, with a particular focus on living benefits, an insurance that you don’t have to die to use, I am uniquely positioned to guide families through the complexities of securing their futures, as well as getting their houses in order. The recent loss of my mother to Alzheimer’s adds depth to my mission, which drives me to educate others about the significance of living benefits and helping them organize their affairs effectively. Through my dedication and expertise, I don’t just provide financial services; I offer families peace of mind and support during life's most challenging moments.

Jenny Books is a loan officer in the Fredericksburg, VA, branch where she focuses on generating loans and helping borrowers meet their unique financial needs. Her career has included prior stops at Second Bank & Trust, C&F Bank and Embrace Home Loans, with responsibilities ranging from budget management and compliance, branch operations, construction lending and residential purchases and refinances.

Jenny grew up in the Fredericksburg area and currently lives in Spotsylvania with her husband. She enjoys running and has participated in two marathons and several half-marathons, and has volunteered as a treasurer for a local elected official. In her spare time, you can find her watching football or enjoying family time on the beach.

In her career, Kelly has worked with local, state and federal government agencies, the health and construction industries and non-profits. She comes with corporate experience, marketing, contracting and fundamental management.
